2 Up Front started as a hobby for Baxter

Colburn and Simon Provan, but quickly grew

(and continues to grow!) as a place for

soccer fans to get their fill of American soccer

from an American perspective.  Every league

in the US set-up is discussed on the show, with a heavy focus on the National Women's Soccer League, Major League Soccer, and the US National Teams.  In addition, the show has become a voice for the soccer scene in Milwaukee, WI.  The guys also do the play-by-play and color commentary for Milwaukee's professional outdoor team, the Milwaukee Torrent.

On the personal side, Baxter is an avid fan of the New England Revolution, Houston Dash, and Arsenal. He also handles broadcasting duties for various high school, college and professional sports teams around the country. A Wisconsin native, Baxter spent most of his youth playing select soccer while growing up in Florida. Soccer brought Baxter back to Wisconsin, where he played for Division III outfit Wisconsin Lutheran College. He also writes for Playingfor90.com.

Simon is a die-hard Portland fan, backing both the Timbers and the Thorns and a fan of Everton. Simon had the privilege of seeing the Timbers lift the 2015 MLS Cup in person in Columbus. The historian of the show, Simon has been a fan of US Soccer since 1989, with three older brothers having played professionally both indoors and outdoors, and can lay claim to having watched MLS since day one. No stranger to the field himself, Simon played on several Wisconsin ODP teams, won several state club titles, and played a season at then Division II powerhouse UW-Parkside. Simon is also a professional actor and voiceover artist.
